The sequel you never knew you wanted is here.
How does one raise the bar after releasing a 2010 ensemble comedy that earned $271 million in worldwide box office? Bring almost everyone back and add Taylor Lautner to widen the potential audience.
So goes the formula for Grown Ups 2, the sequel that will see Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade and Kevin James (sorry, Rob Schneider fans, "scheduling issues" kept him out of the sequel) return once again to the small town they grew up in and remind everyone that they still haven't grown up yet. The added "twist" this time around is that the sequel takes place on the last day of school. But the movie's first trailer proves that little has changed for the sequel, which includes Sandler getting peed on by a deer and the main cast all getting naked and launching themselves off a cliff into a lake. watch the trailer >> Posted 04.04.13 by Ryan

Zookeeper was originally scheduled for release on October 8, 2010, a couple months removed from the July release of live-action, talking-animal movie Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore and a couple months before live-action, talking-animated-bear movie Yogi Bear. It's not like 2011 has been devoid of live-action, talking-animal movies — Hop had an animated, talking bunny. But now the rescheduled Zookeeper is just months away, and it ups the ante of the "genre" by having Kevin James care for an entire zoo of talking animals.
The family comedy, directed by Frank Coraci (Click), stars James as the zookeeper, Griffin, who decides to give up his job to be with the girl in his life (Leslie Bibb) who won't commit to him while he is still employed at the zoo. The animals panic and soon reveal to James that they can all talk.
A teaser trailer for the movie debuted last November, but with the movie opening later this summer, the first full trailer has arrived online, showing James in Paul Blart-mode, and earning back the movie's budget by helping promote TGI Friday's. watch the trailer >> Posted 05.18.11 by Ryan
The first teaser trailer for Kevin James' long-delayed family comedy, Zookeeper, recently debuted in front of MegaMind, and it can now be viewed online. The script by Jay Scherick and David Ronn (Norbit, Guess Who) sparked a bidding war when it was first shopped around back in 2008, reportedly selling to MGM for upwards of $3 million. The movie, about a zookeeper (James) who discovers that the animals at his zoo can talk, was directed by Frank Coraci (Click) and wrapped on October 30, 2009. It was originally scheduled to be released on October 8th of this year, but Sony—which took over the distribution rights from MGM—pushed the release date back to July 8, 2011, to take advantage of the more lucrative summer movie season. Rosario Dawson, Leslie Bibb and Donnie Wahlberg also star, with Adam Sandler, Judd Apatow, Sylvester Stallone, Jon Favreau and Cher among those supplying the voices of some of the animals. read the synopsis and watch the teaser trailer >> Posted 11.08.10 by BrentJS
Vince Vaughn's comedies always involve an appealing "What if?" scenario. What if Santa Claus had a brother (Fred Claus)? What if a couple that broke up still shared the same apartment (The Break-Up)? What if several well-respected comedic actors went to Bora Bora to make a terrible movie (Couples Retreat)?
Vaughn's latest, The Dilemma (formerly titled What You Don't Know, explores the scenario of "what if a man (Vaughn) discovers that his best friend's wife (Winona Ryder) is cheating and isn't sure if he should tell his best friend (Kevin James) about it?" Universal has released the first trailer from the movie. Watch the trailer >> Posted 09.22.10 by Ryan
Adam Sandler's latest movie, Grown Ups, reunites him with several of his Saturday Night Live co-stars, including David Spade, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and Kevin James (filling in for a role that certainly would have gone to Chris Farley had he not passed away). The reunion is fitting, since the movie, which Sandler co-wrote, tells the story of five childhood friends and basketball teammates who reunite 30 years later and spend a weekend together with their families.
The first trailer for Grown Ups has arrived online courtesy of Yahoo!. Directed by Happy Gilmore's Dennis Dugan, Grown Ups opens June 25, 2010. Watch the trailer below. Posted 11.13.09 by Ryan
Reelz.com was lucky enough to get to check out the set of Sony's new holiday action/comedy, Paul Blart: Mall Cop.
It stars a mustachioed Kevin James (The King of Queens, Hitch) as an overzealous shopping mall security guard that must defend his territory when it's taken over by a gang of X-game-y criminals, and from what we saw, it looks like it is going to be pretty funny.

The winner of this weekend's box office war is the Adam Sandler-Kevin James comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, about two firemen who pose as a gay couple so they can get domestic partnership health benefits.
Chuck & Larry took in $34.8 million in ticket receipts this weekend, displacing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on just its second weekend in theaters. There has been some speculation that the release of the final book in the Harry Potter series this weekend may have eaten into the movie's earnings, with fans ostensibly staying home to read the long awaited conclusion to Harry's adventures in lieu of seeing the fifth book depicted in the theater.
At $32.2 million for the weekend, Potter did outpace Hairspray, Friday's other big open. Still, Hairspray fared quite well, coming in third at the box office with $27.8 million--making it the biggest box office open for a musical ever.
