Horror movies may never get the sort of recognition that other genres of movies receive, but there's no denying that the really good ones can provide, in the words of actress Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer TV series), an "everlasting terrifying memory." A self-confessed "fan of horror," Sedgwick recently strode the red carpet at the premiere of her own recent entry in the genre, The Possession, in which she plays the mother of a young girl who becomes possessed by a malevolent spirit from Jewish folklore known as a dibbuk.
The young actress who plays Sedgwick's daughter, Natasha Calis (The Firm TV series), was also on hand and she revealed to our own Jeremy Parsons that the scariest part of the movie for her was filming a scene in which "buckets and buckets" of moths were dumped on her. The movie is supposedly based on a true story and rapper-turned-actor Matisyahu said that, while he doesn't really believe in the supernatural, he wouldn't want to hold onto the real dibbuk box.
