In the wake of the tragic shootings in Aurora, Colo., last month Warner Bros. ordered reshoots on their upcoming mobster movie, Gangster Squad, so they could replace a scene where a group of mobsters shoot into a crowded Grauman's Chinese Theatre, a scene that was deemed too similar to the July 20 massacre. The studio then delayed the movie until 2013 while screenwriter Will Beall came up with different scenarios for the movie's ending. Apparently, Beall has come up with an agreeable alternative, with reshoots scheduled to begin on August 20 according to The Hollywood Reporter.
