"Miss Anders... I didn’t recognize you with your clothes on."
It's been 50 years this month since James Bond first made the leap from the printed page to the silver screen with the release of Dr. No in theaters. Six different actors — Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig — have played Ian Fleming's timeless character over the decades and, while his spy gadgets and cars may change, you can always count on Bond to surround himself with beautiful, resourceful, and downright deadly women.
Considering February is Bond Month on Reelz, we thought this would be a great time to look back at the sexy women who have helped to make James Bond the cultural icon of masculinity he has become. Is Ursula Andress's Honey Ryder still the top Bond Girl, the pinnacle of spy intrigue sex appeal, or is it time to christen a new queen?no such thing as too many bond girls

One of the characteristics of the movies based on Sir Ian Fleming's classic British super secret agent, James Bond, is how international they are in scope. Each installment takes us on an exotic journey to far-off locales as 007 circles the globe on the hunt for international terrorists and evil masterminds. The 23rd James Bond movie, Skyfall, is no exception, with the opening, pre-credits sequence of the movie finding Bond (Daniel Craig) racing through the streets of Istanbul, Turkey. A new featurette has just been released that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the "very ambitious opening action sequence," with commentary from director Sam Mendes (Revolutionary Road), Craig and Naomie Harris, who plays MI6 field agent Eve. watch the new featurette >> Posted 09.11.12 by BrentJS
Production on Skyfall, the 23rd James Bond movie, started back in November but is still ongoing. Collider has compiled a collection of new photos from the upcoming movie, which include first looks at the characters played by Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris.
Few plot details have been revealed but, according to the synopsis, Skyfall will see Bond's (Daniel Craig) loyalty to M (Judi Dench) tested when her past comes back to haunt her. Fiennes reportedly plays a "darkly complex" role in the movie, which may have something to do with M's troubles as Fiennes revealed in January that his character was a "government agent." Harris, meanwhile, has said that she will play "a field agent" named Eve, who apparently thinks she is on the same level as Bond. According to the new photos of the actors, both get into some kind of action, as all the characters are shown aiming their guns, though director Sam Mendes (Jarhead) is pictured in a more pastoral setting. see the new photos >> Posted 04.12.12 by Ryan

After two movies that saw James Bond work without most of his usual supporting cast of characters, Skyfall, the next James Bond movie, is re-introducing many of those who have been sorely missed.
Production on the 23rd James Bond movie began earlier this month and follows Bond's (Daniel Craig) loyalty to M (Judi Dench) after "her past comes back to haunt her." It will reportedly feature the character of Miss Moneypenny, as well, who hasn't appeared in the franchise since Pierce Brosnan was Bond. Naomie Harris (28 Days Later, Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy) was initially believed to be playing the character, but in an interview with ITV after the Skyfall press conference, Harris revealed that she was playing "a field agent" named Eve, who "sees herself as Bond's equivalent". Helen McCrory (Hugo) may be playing Moneypenny instead. who is playing q? >> Posted 11.28.11 by Ryan
Production on the 23rd installment of the James Bond franchise has been announced to start on November 7th. And, as rumored, the movie will be titled Skyfall.
Yesterday, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson introduced the cast of the movie including Daniel Craig as the infamous Agent 007, Judi Dench as M, Naomie Harris (28 Days Later, Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy) as Miss Moneypenny, Javier Bardem as the villain, and French model and actress Bérénice Marlohe. Actors Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw (The Tempest) and Ralph Fiennes (The English Patient) were also confirmed.
"We're so delighted to have Sam Mendes direct Skyfall and be working once again with Daniel Craig. We've a great script, an extraordinary cast and an incredibly talented creative team for this latest James Bond adventure," said Wilson and Broccoli in a statement. what is skyfall about? >> Posted 11.04.11 by Ryan
So far, the cast of director Sam Mendes' upcoming James Bond 23 (working title) is quite small, with only Daniel Craig and Judi Dench set to return as Agent 007 and M, respectively. Actors Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes have been rumored to play the movie's villains, with Bardem admitting in February that he was interested but hadn't accepted the role yet. Fiennes' role is reportedly that of a "darkly complex" villain.
Last month, British actress Naomie Harris (28 Days Later, Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy) was rumored for a Bond girl role in the movie, something she confirmed, revealing that she indeed auditioned for a role but was not sure which one, as she read for Mendes with a scene from Quantum of Solace. What part she read for has finally been revealed. will bardem and fiennes appear in the movie? >> Posted 07.08.11 by Ryan
Earlier this month, British actress Naomie Harris (28 Days Later, Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy) was rumored to be up for a role in the upcoming next installment, tentatively called James Bond 23. Reportedly, Harris' role could be either that of a "sexy sidekick" to James Bond (played again by Daniel Craig) or a "Bond girl," but remained unconfirmed.
While some outlets said that Harris was offered the role, Harris recently revealed to the BBC (via Shadow and Act) that she has only auditioned for the movie, but has no idea what role she might be cast in, though apparently it could be of the "intelligent Bond Girl" variety (perhaps like Denise Richards' nuclear physicist character, Dr. Christmas Jones, in 1999's The World is Not Enough only, hopefully, not woefully miscast). what role did Harris audition for? >> Posted 06.22.11 by Ryan
With director Sam Mendes now able to continue work on his upcoming James Bond 23 (working title), the only confirmed cast members so far are Daniel Craig as 007 and Dame Judi Dench as M. This leaves fans wondering who will be cast as the next Bond villain, and the next Bond girl.
Javier Bardem was offered the role of James Bond's nemesis at the end of January, but, days later, Bardem revealed that he hadn't accepted the role yet. Speculation then turned to Ralph Fiennes, who reportedly was in talks to play a different "darkly complex" villain. Months later, neither actor has been publicly confirmed.
That leaves the next Bond girl, which could be Naomie Harris, the British actress known for her roles in 28 Days Later and the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. rumor or not? >> Posted 06.07.11 by Ryan
