Can looking like Tom Petty ever be a bad thing?
In Knocked Up, it was clear that Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) did not have the ideal marriage. Writer/director Judd Apatow takes a closer look at their lives and relationship in the upcoming "sort-of sequel" to Knocked Up, This Is 40.
What's New:The second trailer for the upcoming comedy focuses on the couple's relationship and family, as opposed to the first trailer that focused more on Debbie and Pete's individual reactions to getting older. watch the trailer >> Posted 08.09.12 by Mandy
Already Had Enough: The scene that featured Rudd's Pete examining his nether regions was thankfully left out of this trailer. Pretty much everyone has had a crush on Rudd ever since Clueless, but there are some positions we just don't want to see him in.
Can Never Have Too Much: We get another look at Melissa McCarthy in this clip, and she is, as always, hilarious.
Despite the fact that it won't start production until next year and has no firm release date, a teaser trailer for Anchorman: The Legend Continues arrived in theaters this weekend prior to showings of The Dictator. After only a day, bootleg versions leaked online of course, much to the chagrin of Paramount Pictures we're sure.
For those who skipped the poorly shot, cell-phone bootleg, the studio has responded with not one but two teaser trailers featuring the Action4 news team of Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), Brian Fontana (Paul Rudd), Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), and Champ Kind (David Koechner). While director Adam McKay and Ferrell have just started writing the script, the one-liners here should suffice for fans of the 2004 original. watch the teasers >> Posted 05.21.12 by Ryan
Since Funny People, Judd Apatow has stayed behind the scenes, producing hits like Bridesmaids, Wanderlust, and this weekend's The Five-Year Engagement. Apatow is returning to the director's chair, though, with This Is 40, the "sort-of-sequel" to Knocked Up, in which Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd reprise their roles as Pete and Debbie. In this first trailer we see the couple dealing with their two daughters and middle age. watch the trailer >> Posted 04.27.12 by Chris
Sure, Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston are two of the most attractive and likable stars in Hollywood, but the first trailer for this month's Wanderlust looked a touch lackluster. A new red-band trailer has just arrived that could explain the tepidness of promos: It was probably difficult to cut an appropriate-for-all-audiences trailer from this hard-R comedy at all.
The new trailer doesn't spend much time on exposition; instead it focuses on the time the couple spends at a commune. From what we can see here, it looks like an outing to this flick would be more than just an excuse to see Aniston and her man Justin Theroux on screen together. The 2001 comedy Wet Hot American Summer wasn't exactly a blockbuster at the box office, earning only $295,206 in limited release. Nevertheless, Wet Hot American Summer has amassed a huge cult following over the years, holding an 85% approval rating on review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes — with some fans considering it to be one of the best comedies of the decade, if not of all time.
Written by The State alumni Michael Showalter and David Wain, who also directed, Wet Hot American Summer is an irreverent and hilarious look at the summer camp movie genre filled with soon-to-be-movie-stars like Paul Rudd (who worked with Wain again on Role Models and ), Elizabeth Banks (Our Idiot Brother, the upcoming Hunger Games), and Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, The Hangover Part II), in what was his first movie role. who said a sequel will absolutely happen? >> Posted 02.10.12 by Ryan
Details have been released for Judd Apatow's Knocked Up spin-off, as well as the movie's first image. This is Forty focuses on Pete (Paul Rudd), his wife Debbie (Leslie Mann), and their two daughters.
Pete's music label is struggling and Debbie's vanity business, a dress shop staffed by the comely Desi (Megan Fox) and the awkward Jodi (Charlyne Yi), needs to help cover the household budget.
Mann, who happens to be Apatow's "real-life" wife, told The LA Times that he focuses on "the kind of stuff about marriage that you don't get to see in movies.
It's about getting older. What the hell happened? Am I making all the right choices? Is this where I'm supposed to be? Is this it? All of those dreams that you had when you were young, all of the possibilities, when you lock into marriage and kids, do the possibilities dwindle or go away?
This Is Forty hits theaters December 21, 2012.> Posted 01.16.12 by reelz
After his first widely released feature, Role Models (2008), proved to be a hit at the box office, writer-director David Wain immediately began working on his follow-up, Wanderlust, with the backing of comedy wizard Judd Apatow. Starring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston as a Manhattan couple who flee the big city and wind up at a clothing-optional commune, Wanderlust wrapped nearly a year ago and has spent months on end in post-production, but now the first trailer has finally been released. watch the trailer >> Posted 11.04.11 by BrentJS

Paul Rudd is coming out soon in Our Idiot Brother, but he’s certainly not the only dummy who’s left us scratching our heads on the big screen even though their questionable intelligence and low IQs provide some classic comic relief.
