There have been plenty of superheroes on the big screen this summer, but Griff is a little different. In Griff the Invisible, Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) plays a guy who lives a secluded life and works a normal office job, but assumes the identity of a superhero at night to roam the streets and protect the innocent and vulnerable. He then finds a girl with a similarly off-kilter world view, and a romance blossoms. At Comic-Con, Kwanten explained how his childhood games of playing pretend, and how the life of an actor and the necessity of putting on a persona in public informed his portrayal of Griff.
