In Submerged (2005), Seagal plays Chris Cody, a mercenary doing time in a military prison for breaking the law while helping to foil a terrorist attack. When Secret Service agents and Delta Force commandos are brainwashed and turned into killing machines, the Navy recruits Cody to hunt down the CIA scientist (Nick Brimble) responsible and destroy his secret base.
