I only got to see the first 20 minuets of the movie. I had to evacuate the theater because of a bomb threat. I didn't like how the movie was going or the story, but it may redeem itself in the rest of the movie. Wonderland was pretty to look at and you can obviously see the Tim Burton stamp on it. So if you like his movies you are in for a treat. If you are a huge fan of the book you may be disappointed.

I don't know what to think of this movie. I've been reading reviews all morning that have been bashing it left and right. Disney used so much on marketing and promotions that created too high of expectations and I feel in the end the movie will be a huge let down. Lately every movie Tim Burton has directed has failed miserably and I feel like this will not be any different. Plus the fact that the re-creation of Alice in Wonderland should have been a re-make from the books, The Looking Glass Wars trilogy by Frank Beddor. The books have an excellent twists on Alice in Wonderland that would have been translated a lot better into a film than what Linda Woolverton wrote for the screenplay of Alice in Wonderland for this movie.
