This was a pretty good film. It had a pretty weird plot, and storyline. I'm surprised this wasn't a Tim Burton film because it's a weird movie, and it would've been one of his better films. I thought that the animation in this film was bad because it's basically puppets movie around and talking in a weird animated form. This film also ad some pretty scary parts, which I liked because you don't really see that in a family type of film. The end of this film was really exciting, and left me on the edge of my seat, kind of a weird begining, but a great ending. If I were you I would rent this film, and give it a grade of a C. ~MovieFan89~
Good movie, some viewers may be disturbed by some images, but a really good movie. This would make a really good Halloween movie. Almost better than Tim Burtons "The Nightmare Before Christmas"
I was lying about Anjalina Jolie-I HATE HER!!!
This movie will be remembered for decides to come!I was very suprised when i saw this film,I was expecting a fun family film-but it was not realy-I would say a fun family film,It was starting out ok in the first part of the film then it got to the parts people would expect-wait not expect it got kind of out of control with the main plot,and when l said "-but it was not realy-I would say a fun family film"I ment it,and if you read this one guys review(Lyes987)he said some parts were inappropriate or scary-its true,well during those parts some kids got (very) humored about the inappropiate parts of the movie and screamed to death on the scary parts so their parents took them out of the theater so bacicly now half of the theater was gone.But it was a great movie,I did not expect this from Dakota Fanning,now when I used to see her she was in little girl movies but now shes in action(horror) flicks like push,war of the worlds and this film too. I always thought she was a good actress and stuff but she was not in my kind of movies,but then when Spielberg hook her up with war of the worlds she was on my top three best actress list.I love this movie and you should see it too,it is a very sappy love,horror,stop motion,adventure,film. P.S. if you were wondering who was on my top three actress list here you go 1)Isala Fisher(hot rod) 2)Dakota Fanning(war of the worlds) 3)Angelina Jolie(any movie with her big lips)
Great Movie!!! Excellent! Great movie from family 5-99 years old. . . some parts maybe inappropriate (one part), might be scary for kids of a younger age.Not a disappointment!!! A definite good use of money!
The movie makes you think of your family and how just how wonderful it is for them to be there. I'd say the movie was rather intriguing. It's like a children's horror movie and it is also something you can see for yourself without needing to take your kid. Whether you are a child or an adult this movie will surely intrigue you. Coraline as a character was very well fleshed out. She was a very believable character and it was just so nice to add a talking cat into the mix to help out coraline. Not through riddles or clues, but actually helping her out. I reccomend you see this movie.
See it. It is both delightful and thrilling. Don't even bother to round up kids to take with you. Just go! Take a date; take your mama. It doesn't matter. All should enjoy this movie. And the trailers are in 3-D. This was the first time I plunked down $12 for a movie and was not the least bit dissapointed.
