this movie was hilarious its my favorite comedy!
its about some stunt man whose named rod has never completes a jump even a small one so the same efect is bam crash slide "oh ****" kind of stuff every time he does a stunt.he has a realashinship with step father frank. well not realy.you see that rod thinks that if he can kick franks ass he can earn his respect.and rod cant do his stunts alone...he has a team the guy who plays red in pineapple express,rods bud(bill hader) and his brother kaven.rod has a little crush on this hot chick(ilasa fisher).then when he is determand to kick his dad ass get the gril and land a jump his step-dad frank needs heart surgery but its 5o grand so rod the and his team and try to rase the money to save franks life..and kick his ass!
The film was actually pretty good, it had some funny humor in it, and it had a good storyline, and plot. The part of the movie that's the best is that the stuntman and his crew are complete idiots which makes the film funny. ~MovieFan89~
I'm going to be honest i did NOT want to see this movie. But i noticed that it was almost always out at the Blockbuster i go to. So i thought maybe there is something good about. Rented it, and i actually thought it was really funny. The humour reminded me of the type of comedy on a television show or skecth show, which fit well with the stupiditly of the plot. Overall i enjoyed.
I actually stumbled upon this movie by accident when tickets to another film weren't currently selling, and I must say, this movie was no disappointment. With the role of Rod Kimble originally was supposed to be for Will Ferrell, Andy Samberg I thought did an excellent job. This movie had me laughing the whole way through. It felt like I was watching a good version of Napoleon Dynamite. Although the humor was what one might say "stupid", It still made me laugh. I must say, It's one of my guilty pleasure movies. All I can say about this film is, at least give it a shot. I thought the critics were a bit harsh on this film, but I would considered it a rent.
