I would also like to say with the direction this franchise is taken...i believe that mandarin will be in the third movie but their mayb a preview of him or some hint to know that he is coming in the second...that is a hunch i have but regardless i can't wait for the iron man 2 it looks great...i'm always on here so ne feedback i love to get other perspectives

All these movies will have their own sin and story lines, but there will be links in each one that will tie the characters together, whihc will lead to the avengers...Thor will probably be the hardest one to connect to the rest but I trust marvel and I'm sure they will make it work and it will be great...the biggest thing is the captain america movie will set the precedent for the avengers...if captain america is not done right then the avengers will not be as good if even good at all..,but all the characters will be linked through the movies and i trust marvel that they will be great...hey just look at the job they have done so far...i think as good as ironman and the incredible hulk are, the future movies will be even better

Yes, but Iron Man becomes one of the Avengers, along with the Hulk, Thor and one more, I think.
i don't get it, i heard some rumors about the avengers, and also Downey Jr. was in the end of The Incredible Hulk. and nick fury he's part of S.H.I.E.L.D. will ironman be seperate from the avengers and incredible hulk.
Iron Man is one of the Avengers. He gets together with Thor and the Hulk and one more to form the Avengers under the leadership of Nick Fury. They're separate individuals, but they team up as the Avengers.
i cant wait for the movie. iron man was awsome and iron man 2 will be just as good. my only priority that worries me is the villan i think i know the villan for 2 but im not sure.
In Iron Man 2, the villain was Whiplash. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it. Iron Man 3 the villain will be the Mandarin, seems like. I'm hoping the Avengers meets up with Red Skull.

How Black Widow could fit into movie:A part of Mandarin's armour(which i hope is in movie) is said to contain an Impact Beam.Now,since Natasha is highly trained at computer technology,i figure she finds a way to turn off Mandarin's force field in similar to how she reprogrammed War Machine's armour in Iron Man 2.Maybe not the same way but i figure she could create something in Iron Man's armour so that when he does punch,shoot,the works at Mandarin more and more,his force field weakens enough to become damaged.Other than that,i can't think of how she'll be much help to Tony or 'Rhodey' since Mandarin doesn't normally travel with much help except for a few samaurais or a few ninjas.
Either Black Widow or Pepper. Black Widow would be best in the fight because of her training. Pepper is also quite computer savvy. But I'd like to see her be the one to find Mandarin's "weakness" Iron Man 2, Tony saved Pepper, why not in Iron Man 3, Pepper saves Tony? LOL
