Mamma Mia is one of the best films of the year! This movie has a great story, acting and not to mention beautiful scenery. The story is about a young woman named Sophie who is getting married and would like her father to attend the wedding, in order to walk her down the isle. Sophie's mother Donna is busy getting the island resort that she owns ready for her daughter's wedding. Donna's two best friends, played by Julie Walters and Christine Baranski arrive on the island for the wedding So young Sophie finds her mother's diary one day and reads its and discovers that her father could be one of the three men that Donna dated. Sophie sends invitations to the three men played by Pierce Bronson, Colin Firth and Stellan Skaarsgard . Interestingly enough, the three men accept the invitation probably thinking they would meet Donna (brilliantly played by Meryl Streep). When the three men arrive upon the island, Sophie is forced to hide them so her mother will not see them. But, soon after their arrival to the island, Donna finds the three gentlemen that were part of her life a long time ago. From there the audience is treated to a medley of great songs from Abba. In all this movie gives you a happy pleasant feeling when you leave. Also, I must say Pierce Bronsan looked so funny when he was singing. I found this movie to be very enjoyable! I highly recommend this movie! You will definitely be in a good lighthearted mood after seeing “Mamma Mia”.
this movie is filled with so much things that make u happy. idk y. its just 1 of those films ya know? anyway, this film is so cool. the music is some what awesome. it all depends on the type of genre u enjoy listening to. this film is just so heartwarming to me. my friends and i luv it. some parts were hilarious too! i luved it
This was the best movie ever, it makes me happy and and alive with the music of ABBA the actress and actors were absolutly awesome, I love it, I love it , I love it.....
I have also loved Abba music since my kids were teens. It makes me happy and I feel good hearing it. Thanks cast and all the crew who worked so hard. My bet is on this movie. I will own it and the soundtrack.
Meryl Streep is sooo good in this. I loved her throughout the movie. " Winner takes it all" should get her an oscar. She and the whole cast are awesome
I'm SO glad I saw this! I loved this movie so much!ABBA has always been one of my favorite bands, and Meryl Streep is my all time FAVORITE actress!This movie was SO great! I laughed hysterically, and I cried like a little baby!Amazing, amazing, amazing!LOVED IT!
