This was a great film! Even though this film was a biography it had a great plot and storyline to it. I didn't know too much about Biggie Smallz until I saw this film, and I think a big drug lord turning into a rap legend tells a good story about a person. The cast was great in the film, they all gave accurate performances on what happened with Biggie Smallz during what happened in real life. If I were you I would go see this film right awat, and give it a graade of an A.

last night i went to the showing of NOTORIOUS!!!! I loved every moment of it, it showed what really goes on in the streets, showed the life style he had, and most imprtantly if your hungry for something keep ya head up and go for it no matter what!!! I laughed, rapped his music, and cried at the end when he was also shot and killed. I THINK ALL THE ACTRESS AND ACTOR'S DID A WONDERFUL JOB IN THIS MOVIE... KEEP YOUR HEAD UP MS.WALLACE AND STAY THE STRONG BLACK WOMAN THAT YOU ARE. REMEMBER YOUR SON STILL HAVE FANS IN THIS WORLD AN I'M ONE OF THEM.. I LOVE YOU NOTORIOUS B.I.G. AND REST IN PEACE JESSICA PHILLIPS FRM MISSISSIPPI
Also..for true fans...you may shed some tears as you relive our NOTORIOUS BIG cut down in his prime. The questions/anger of if he should have waited a bit longer before returning to Cali--allowing those to heal after we loss Tupac, will return to your mind. The movie did remind us of BIG's evolution--and his becoming a man at peace before he left here! Go in with an open mind--and you will have a great time! Don't get mad if the people in theater are singing along with BIG--its almost IMPOSSIBLE not to! LOL
NOTORIOUS was an awesome movie for those who LOVED BIG. I saw it last night and want to see it again and again! I cannot wait to have it released on DVD to add to the family archives. The review here in my opinion doesnt get it! Back in the day, the Elvis lovers, the Beatles lovers etc----those type of passionate spirits get it. BIG charismatic style and flow captivated the HEARTS of millions during his time on the mic. I think those who actually followed his music when he WAS ALIVE and were the SAME age range as he at that time, will have different opinions than those that were only able to here his music as children, after he died, etc. As someone stated--ITS A MOVIE!!! Its impossible to depict and include everything! Some things BIG may have wanted kept private and Sean Combs and his Mom honored tha. Some things may not have been proven facts--so they didn't include or only touched the issue. The marketing was great! The movie is great! The movie wasnt about BIG and Tupac or BIG and Anyone! It was about giving us an entertaining glimpse of most of what BIG experienced in his life! My only regret is that I didn't go back home to NY to watch the movie with all the love and electrifying energy I know it deserved. (I'm in ATL). The music, the shows--a true Party movie for BIG fans!
Been a fan of his (Biggie Smalls) for a long time now. I just hope they get the right people to work on this film. Nothing would upset me more to see them tarnish his LegacyPlease do not disappoint us. Respectfully, Antonio LZ
