I watched this movie and the computer effects were very good.But the rest of the movie left me bored and wondering why i rented this movie.Honestly i have to say that this movie was a dud,but not as bad as meet dave.
Pretty good movie. The acting was good, but not great. I did like Christina Ricci as Trixie and Matthew Fox as Racer X. Emile Hirsch was pretty good too. I only have two problems. While a lot of people say that the film's effects are good, I have to disagree. I found them very distracting and out of place. The storyline is also pretty warped. While a guy is telling Speed he's not going to win the next race, and it showed a race in the middle of his speech, it gave me the impression that Speed was thinking of things to come. Turns out that it was the actual race going on, and the next scene is the aftermath. While I focused on the bad things, this film is not bad. It's a great film that will probably be best seen on an HD television.
Well i was expecting a CG movie but i had no idea that this movie was going to show that much CGI. I mean Star Wars all over again. But i have to admit that the movie has a nice stroy and an even better moral im not scared to show this movie was actually o.k. Not the best but it still has what we all need to go see. and come on its a little kid movie. But at least adults can watch all these movie and not be completely bored.
This movie was good! It was well set up and I thought it was really entertaining. Into the Wild star Emile Hersch played another great role as Speed Racer. ~MovieFan89~

SPARKY did not have enland accent in the cartoon
if you want to watch Saturday morning cartoons this don't even rate with the seventys... For todays CGI tech you would think it would be CGI BUT NO..... This film maker should have just sat in front of a TV in the 70's and recoarded it with a Beta format cam.... Not worth the money or time to sit and watch. Walked out!
Será com a grata satisfação que finalmente poderemos ***istir nos cinemas esse que foi um dia um dos maiores heróis da década de 60/70. Espero que a trilha sonora faça jus a esse grande sucesso. Parabéns aos idealizadores e produtores e principalmente ao criador de SPEED RACER... GO SPEED! GO!
