Probably the worst Star Wars movie, but it was still awesome!!l
This was a great beggining to the Anakin Skywalker saga, but it wasn't the best Star Wars movie. ~MovieFan89~
Finally a beginning to one of the greatest sagas in history.
This is a pretty good movie. One, the new villian is just completly awesome. He is Darth Maul. But not just that, George Lucas did a good job with setting, plot and so forth. I thought the acting in this was really good, especially by Liam Neeson who played Qui Quan JIn, and Ewan McGregor who played Obi Wan Kenobi. Being the first biggest movie Natalie Portman has been in, she did a decent job. A great thing was the final battle with Darth Maul. Best lightsaber duel of all six movies. Music was amazing. (Music was done by John Williams.) Special effects were fine and again I think Darth Maul is a really cool character. Ray Park did a good job as him, in the lightsaber battle. Cons: I thought Yoda looked fake (they fixed it in Attack of the Clones) Also, there is a pod race sequence that took to long and didn't make my adrenaline get pumped. In some parts things go very slow. The space battle that took place was no where near as good as the one in The New Hope or The Return of the Jedi. I felt this way with Revenge of the Sith as well. I felt George Lucas should focus on the space battles if he is going to have them. Because it kept going back and forth with the saber battle. (Also in Revenge of the Sith) Space battles should be exciting and very action oriented. It shouldn't just be an extra. Finally, the editors cut out a scene where Ankin shows a little of his dark side. It was a great scence because through out the entire movie Ankin waws a sweet little boy and you wondered where did he go wrong. Overall, this is a great, movie with cool battle scenes, good special effects. Most people have watched it but if you haven't watched any star wars movies. This one won't disapoint you.
