Robert Deniro as an aged Superman who has given up aftre lois dies- until his super son becomes a dupe for terrorists. Alec Baldwin and Stephan Hawking as villians
Great movie awesome special effects, and a great storyline.
Well die hard fans of the original Superman movies said "unoriginal" and "some ol same ol" i thought the movie was pretty o.k. for people who never saw the original films. but for Fans of the other ones this moie was terrible. For me i wanted to see something new, not Lex Luther (again) but we did and well we just gotaa hang with the best of them right? though not perfect the guy who plays superman in this one look alot like the guy from the first one and whos complainin about that? Nick Cage wanted to be super man. Imagine that before you give Brandon Routh a hard time.
Ok I thought it was in ok movie I didn't mean that it really suck, All I am saying is the that the producers need to stop making Superman like Richard Donner's version and try to come up with something orignial and stop stealing all the great lines that Christopher Reeve said in Superman one.
I thought this was the worse superman Movie it was up their with Superman 4, I don't know what the producers were thinking but I bet they were just thinking "I know why don't we remake superman 1 and steal all the lines that Christopher Reeve said in the First one". Even Brandon Routh Looks like Reeve, but all I know is that the producers need to stop making it like Richard Donner's version and try to come up with something original. Between Superman and Batman I definalty think Batman can kick Superman's ASS
i like the movie surpeman returs
"Superman Returns" is the Superman movie the world has been waiting for. Brandon Routh is a nearly perfect choice for Superman/Clark Kent, Kate Bosworth adds a new layer to Lois Lane, and Kevin Spacey is menacing and hateful in an inspired performance as Lex Luthor.
Director Bryan Singer captures the spirit of the orginal films and comics, while talking it in an exciting new direction. The special effects are dazzling. One of my favorite parts of the film was the plane rescue scene. The story, which everyone already knows, is just the way a Superman film should have gone. It stays close to the source material but is new and exciting. Brandon Routh gives an exceptional interpretation as Superman/Clark Kent, but hopefully in the sequel he will really dive into the character as he becomes more comfortable in such a big role. Still, he is a natural fit for the suit. Another highlight of the film includes the emotion between Lois and Superman, as Lois is torn between her true love that loved her but left and her new fiance, Richard. Hearing John William's original score is also a pleasure.
In conclusion, "Superman Returns" is an extremely worthy sequel to the franchise. It is nothing but enjoyable and nearly perfect for any Superman fan or someone looking for a great movie. I can't wait to see what happens in the sequel!
