With Guillermo del Toro at the helm. How could it miss?!!
It will not suck Mysteryman u low life remedial reject. Guillermo del Torro is a spectaucular director with a penchant for stunning visuals and wonderfully told stories. If u actually watched movie's and paid attention to who directs/produces them, maybe ur feeble brain could comprehend that. But i guess that is asking alot of a troglodite. Do the world a favor, pull ur bottom lip over ur head and swallow. Can u do that for us all. It would be the greatest service u could render to the human race u waste of air and flesh. You see, Jackson will still be involved in the movie as a producer. A producer is a person who funds the project with there vast wealth, and do u think that someone is just gonna let millions of there own dollars go without having a say so in the movie. Of course not! And as for Chris Tolkienn being a greedy jackass with his FATHER'S story (thats right his father's creation), he has no right especially considering that JRR would certainly be very proud with how his legacy has been transferred to the modern silver-screen medium. Chris, u didn't have s*** to do with the creation of these characters. U think because u added some BS lore to the Silmarillion that entitles u to be a money grubbing, green-eyed prick? I think not. These stories r bigger than u and anyone else in ur family that feels as u do. JRR would understand that and I bet he is wretching in his grave, God rest his soul, over how disgraceful u r.
No its not first of all Del Toro is a good director and 2nd Peter Jackson is gonna Produce it so he will still be with the movie.

Nice to see we are hearing more on The Hobbit. Great news that is being directed by Guillermo del Toro and Ian McKellen will be star cast. Excellent! So looking forward to seeing both movies.
