The movie was great! I would have to say it is closer to the truth than what people want to believe. Tyler played a fantastic role in his movie as well as the other actors and actresses. I would watch it again and again.

This is not your typical “chick flick.” The plot is good, the meaning is purposeful and the cast is amazing. It really makes you think about the reality of relationships. I am definitely going to add it to my DVD collection. I saw it when I was in Montgomery Alabama too bad it is not playing in Great Falls, Montana I would love to take the wife to see it.
I felt this movie was the BEST by far this year. It had Drama, Comedy and it dealt with real live issues. I think people are jealous of the fact tyler Perry is a Strong, Educated Black Man that is raising the bar in Hollywood Cinema. He is a leader and he sets an example for all black people. The stars he placed in this movie were Exemplary....... I would refer this movie to all my Friends
I finally went to see Tyler Perry's movie and I loved it. I think its great how he chooses which actors and actresses to play in his films. The movie is about love, heartache, secrets, and mainly communication between two people that love each other. Kudos Tyler, you did it again!

H. Huntington what is your deal? what do you have against Tyler Perry? He makes really good plays and movies....obviously you cannot see that because it does not stand up to your expectations...I really enjoyed it and it was funny with a really great message behind it...its way different from what is playing these days full of violence..it has some reality to it...Overall it is good and like watching urban movies..I would go see it again in a flash..

I normally don't look at a critiques of black movies and now I remember why. Now I do agree with a few of the technical aspects of the review but it's no worst than some of the other movies that I have seen. The main reason I don't like critics reviewing these movies is because they can not relate. You can tell that they are not the target audience and they don't get it. What is "it"? It is the real experiences black people go through. One critic said that the relationships psychologically would never happen in the real world. They need to meet some of the people I know. They say that the storyline is weak. I think thats is because they can't relate to black experiences and how we deal with situations. And when you can't relate you can't understand why it is written the way it is. This was a great movie and if you could relate to the characters and the experience then all the little technical glitches would be lost and forgotten. I must say I have to have this movie in my home collection.
