Ok, lets get one thing straight, if the villain is lex luthor again, i will not see this movie. People want a villain who can match Superman in his strength and intelligence. They also need to be popular enough with the public to be regonized. That lowers it down to about...5. They are, Braniac, Bizarro, Doomsday, Zod, and Metallo. The reasons why are-Braniac is the smartest character in the DC Universe, and he can match Superman's brawn as well; Bizarro because he is Superman's clone so he has all his strengths and weaknesses; Doomsday because he killed Superman; Zod because he is smart and of the same race; and Metallo because he is almost made of Kyrptonite, so he has an advantage. If anyone else can come up with a villain I am unaware of that is not bald and keeps using kyrptonite all the time, tell me.

Without a doubt, Doomsday. It should follow true to the story. It is the only thing left to show and would be an outstanding movie with spectacular FX.

I am a Huge DC FAN Ok, and A HUGE SUPERMAN FAN Ive been a fan Of DC ever scince I was 4yrs old Im curently 16. Most 16 year olds get out of the phase of likeing super heroes. but not for me I love reading comics and love to drawing. and i have watched all the superman movies about a million times and what i have notticed they every time use Lex Luthor as the Main villan. not saying that Lex isnt a threat to superman He clearley is but thier needs to be a alien that posses the biggest threat to superman. and the gallaxey and the oly one who i know who posses that big of a threat is DARKSIDE
Darkseid is cool for sure and would be fun to see. BUT, not for an origin story.
