I think it would be really cool if they used Mysterio as the new villan in SpiderMan 4. In fact I think they should make an alliance of Mysterio and rhino. Like they did with Sandman and Venom in number 3.

Actually it would be better if the villian were The Lizard.Think about it,Curt becomes tired of just having one arm and tries to regenerate the other arm using lizards,the experiment goes horribly wrong and instead of his arm regenerating he becomes a being with the strength of an american alligator.When Spiderman first faces him,he's a cinch to defeat because he's able to regain his human form again however,the second time isn't as good as the first and serum from another source is the only way to stop THE LIZARD's rampage from continuing.
Or a combination of villians could be added.While Spiderman and THE LIZARD battle it out,THE LIZARD accidently knocks the flask holding the symbiote out the window.The flask splatters on the ground below and the symbiote now searches for a new host.After Spiderman manages to stop THE LIZARD and Curt reverts back to normal,he soon realizes what has happened and now knows whoever now bonds with the symbiote will know Spiderman's strengths and weaknesses plus,may or may not bond with a crazed lunatic.Unfortunately,Spiderman's search leads him on an impossible quest as he checks the police station for convicted killers who have been incarcerated.No answers come up.Who has the symbiote linked up with? It soon becomes apparent when chaos erupts in a prison.Apparently Cletus Cassidy was incarcerated not far from where Spiderman was searching(Cletus killed five people before his capture).The symbiote has found a new host and he's even more deadly than VENOM in fact,he's a whole new breed of insane and where he goes,CARNAGE follows.So,where does THE LIZARD fit back in? Apparently while Spiderman realizes his new foe is more deadly than VENOM ever was,THE LIZARD returns and kidnaps a child(Curt eventually loses to his other form in the comics) to test out a new experiment(wrong child since she the cousin of the mysterious new anti-hero who ends up helping Spiderman).Now there's two wars going on,Spiderman-vs-Carnage and The Black Cat -vs- The Lizard and the rest save for the movie.
