I can't come up with ten of the top of head but I think this would be a good list for the countdown. My number one ending would the ending Dirty Mary Crazy Larry.

i agree!! hm i have a few not in this order, but: Pan's Labyrinth(poor ofelia!) Million Dollar Baby The Sixth Sense Atonement The Heathers(i just love this film, put it on any countdown n i will be happy) Thelma and Louise i dont know, i agree with the spoiler alert suggestion!
I think that this is a very good top ten idea
All i ask is that they avoid Old Boy i hated that movie i was not shocked or disturbed i was just bored and i have seen it in some top ten lists on this subject, often higher than some great endings, One must also put the originated of the surprise ending on this list, Citizen Kane.
"The Blues Brothers" and "youth in revolt" where the main character goes to jail at the end. I mean really i wish there was a better ending than that.
I like that idea also, i wrote to them with the top ten movie ending, they just have to make sure they put spoiler alert through out the show so they don't disappoint viewers that have yet to see the movie or movies.
Great list idea here. I love when writers/directors have the guts to break away from the expected and leave you wondering "did they really just do that." Those are the movies that take on a whole new story the second time you watch it. Good examples are the Sixth Sense and Fight Club.
