Love the movie over all but was extremely upset on some of the changes: Bella is too much of a strong confident women in the movie unlike the book and she hurts Edward more than Jacob emotionally unlike the book to the point of humiliation (she does not drive away on the motorcycle leaving Edward at the school!. Too much Jacob not enough of Edward and Bella's emotional scenes. Bella does not save the day in the book, in fact she almost blows the whole deal by her stunt with the 3rd wife imitation...that was supposed to be Edward and Seths shining momment but instead they played it down and made Bella the heroine. With that said, Rob Pattinson did a great job in the movie especially with the marriage proposal scene when he gets on his knee. That was better than in the book. This movie was good but gave me the impression they were more concerned on catering to the girls who want to see Jacob's abs then the actual true love story of the book. Of course I will see it again because I love the books and I'm a devoted fan. Loved the action scenes, although the wolves and the vampires do not fight on the same field, it worked overall. They finally got Jaspers makeup right, Jackson's good looks finally shined through the makeup job. For all those team Jacob people, why, why, why??? If you truly read the books you would know that Jacob does nothing but emotionally torcher and manipulate Bella and Edward for his own self interest. He is mean and whines about his life in all of the books. What woman would want to be with a man like that...not to mention that if she chose him..he could still imprint on someone else and he doesn't age either as long as he can change into a wolf. Just saying. Go team Edward people I think you got it right.
