I'm a Moretz fan so I'm biased but the consensus of her fans is that she can take on the role. I and and everyone else are scratching their heads wondering why actors much older than 16 are being talked about.

even though somone is older then the characters age doen't mean that, on screen, they look older then the age of the character. after all most teenage roles are played by 20 somthings not teens but they still look like teens. if you get somone too young, on screen they may look too young.
Rooney Mara is a perfect Katniss!!!! so hot and badass! she beat freddy in the new Nightmare on Elm St.
