So...Apparently Alex Pettyfer is out of the running to play Jace. It was reported that Alex was offered the role for the movie franchise for another book series, The Last Apprentice. Horrible, right? It says that Alex totally passing TMI as a rumor. I don't know what to believe. All I do know is that he would be a perfect Jace, but if he doesn't really want the part, then he doesn't deserve it. I really hope he wants it. TMI is way bigger than TLA.

Well, the rumor might be true - There ist already an new Jace, and I must admit, the cast isn´t really good in my opinion. Even Lily Collings is not a really good choice for clary. The cast disappoints me, I´m not sure if I watch the movie....
I heard he turned Down bieing Jace Wayland it was a comment i dont kno if to believe or if its true Alex turned down the role like a week ago he just hasn't said it or announcet to the wORLD OR US FROM FEAR THAT WE WOULD HUNT HIM DOWN LOL :t that sad cause i kinda liked as my Beautiful Jace WE ALl DID .... nothing is certain soooo Dont believe me its just wat i read some where i wouldnt Trust that stupid A#$$$hole who could even write such a thing!!!!
