This is directed to the producers of "Maltin on Movies"
Leonard often introduces me to movies I have never heard of. I perk up to the scenes being played, and want to make note of the name of the film, but I am confuscated by the "clever" banners such as BATTER UP and then WINNING TEAM which are in big letters but are not the name of the film finally revealed to be "MONEY BALL".
Most agonizing was a "raiding of the vault" film by Buster Keaton. Which was preceded by faux titles of MONEY MOTIVES and THERE GOES THE GROOM. Only after a commercial break do we finally learn the actual title of "SEVEN CHANCES"
As a viewer who seeks new films, these "clever" banners are very annoying. thanks for listening!
