As I read the 3 books in the series so far *TWICE* I pictured the cast to be much different than the people they are putting in the movie. I was SOOOO excited when i found out that it was being turned into the movie, but i am now scared, searching frantically through Google Images that the cast might ruin the whole thing for me. I understand that there is wigs and make-up and stuff, but just their overall look just doesn't make the criteria that the book set.

I agree! The two main characters look too old, Amma looks not old enough.... did Lena even have green eyes? and Ridley, decent choice with Rossum, but no wig or hair dye? The previews look to me like its not even going to be close to the book. :( I think Irons and Watson are good choices... maybe even the choice for Link will be good, but Lena, Ethan, and Amma look to be poor choices to me...... but everyone complained about Pattinson when they cast him for Twilight...
I agree. Im so afraid this isnt going to be good. They are major screwing it up!!!!!!
If the cast doesn't look like the characters normally, then they better have some talented hair and make-up crews...
I know!!! That's what I hate about book movies. We like imagine the book our own way but then in the movie it's just like "Hey that's not how I imagined them looking..."
Yea, like seriously. Maybe they should start making the movies first. I mean, they are usually TOTALLY differant anyways right?
Im glad I'm not the only one who is worried. I love these books and while I think that there are some things that you can over look, it just seems like they didn't even try to get the right people. I'm sorry but Emma Rossum as Ridley?? Really? I just don't see it. Plus I saw a pic of her in Entertainment Weekly as Ridley. And she has red hair. Where did that come from?
