Wow! The movie won't be out for another year and there's already a few unhappy people that think that Johnny Depp's version should stick to a remake of the 1960's TV series! OH, what...it's only a few a unhappy person with 4 unhappy comments. Why don't you tell us what you really think Clint? Since when did making a movie from a book actually follow the book? Come on Clint...live a little and expect the unexpected.

Actually, I am all for change. I never did like the LR in "costume. I don't recall any real cowboys or sheriffs etc. of the early west ever ran around in tight pants, matching accessories. In fact Texas Rangers did not even wear badges or had rank when they were created. But I have liked the LR character for years. Even Brace Beemer of radio LR wanted more realism, mentioning "Gunsmoke" as an example. To put Tonto in a Halloween costume and probably due to not "offending" anyone, probaby have him speak in perfect English that is not my idea of improving heros. The "LR" idea was created by the LR character not Tonto, Tonto pledged he would remain with LR in his pursuit of justice. I'm just sayin' don't make an entirely new character out of an old established one, look whar happened to the other attempts, Shadow, Green Hornet, et. Superman and Batman stayed in their character and were quite sucessful. Hope I have cleared up my case somewhat.
