“Manis” the Orangutan
Manis was the trained orangutan actor that played Clint Eastwood’s sidekick, “Clyde” in Every Which Way But Loose. He went on to a prolific career as the uncredited “Monkey” in Cannonball Run II, Fantasy Island and Cheers before becoming a Las Vegas entertainer.
