Ever since he was a child, Robert Kleasen had a reputation for instability. At age 18 he was committed to a psyche ward for firing a gun in a hospital. When he was older, he went to jail for shooting off a man’s toe. After jumping bail on that charge, Robert moves to Texas to start his life over: telling tall tales of a life spent in the military and the CIA in an attempt to build up a reputation. But old habits die hard, and when Robert gets into a dispute with the local Mormon church, he commits a pair of murders that will come to be known as ‘The Real Texas Chainsaw Massacre’. And not unlike a Hollywood horror movie, this case has a twist ending that leaves an entire community stunned.
