On June 13, 2004, 91-year-old Robert Lees had a turbulent career in Hollywood. He had written some amazing movies like Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, The Invisible Woman, and The Black Cat, won an Oscar and was eventually blacklisted in the 1950’s. As one of the founding members of the Writer’s Guild, he showed no signs of slowing down until he was brutally murdered and decapitated inside his Hollywood home. His head was found inside his neighbor’s apartment, whom also lay dead. Could this murder be linked to Lees’ past – or could it be the beginning of a killing spree? It all ends with the dramatic takedown of a young suspect, Kevin Lee Graff on the front steps of Paramount Studios.
